CCA Capitol City Goes to OysterFest
Capitol City Chapter President Frank Betrozoff and members Mike and Marsha Schaefer set up a CCA information booth at OysterFest. This was the second year this chapter attended the two day event of an oyster shucking competition and seafood fair. The booth was set up with a display on loan from the state. CCA Capitol City also created their own display explaining various types of commercial selective fishing methods. "Feedback was very positive on the concept of commercial selective fisheries" said chapter member Marsha Schaefer. It was a busy weekend with CCA members speaking to about fifty people each day.
